BackupEDGE 2.x Update / Upgrade Eligibility
The following policies apply to BackupEDGE license updates and upgrades for Licensees of our 2.x series of products...
- There is no charge for any BackupEDGE 2.x Licensed User to download any 2.x updates to their current BackupEDGE version, whether or not the BackupEDGE License is under a current Support and Maintenance Subscription.
- BackupEDGE 2.x Licensees not under a current Support and Maintenance Subscription may continue to download the latest release 2.x updates to their products from the Microlite Download Site, or may purchase a BE3PUL upgrade to BackupEDGE 3.x. BE3PUL retails for $250.00 and includes a 1 year Support and Maintenance Subscription.
- TSC1Y Support and Maintenance Subscriptions for 2.x products are no longer available. The replacement SKUs are:
- BE3SUP - BackupEDGE Annual Support / Maintenance Subscription Extension (use to expiration of previous Subscription). Valid for 2.x or 3.x licenses.
- BE3SMR - BackupEDGE Annual Support / Maintenance Subscription Renewal (use if prior Subscription has expired). Valid for 2.x or 3.x licenses.
Note that 2.x products must be removed from the system before 3.x products are installed.
